The deadline for 2025 Jazz Fest Applications in approaching! The 2025 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, presented by Shell, set to take place over two weekends: April 24 – 27 and May 1 – 4, 2025, is officially accepting applications until OCTOBER 1, 2024. With its rich tradition of celebrating Louisiana’s diverse musical and cultural heritage, the festival offers a unique platform for local artists to showcase their talents on a global stage.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, organized by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, has been instrumental in promoting and preserving the vibrant music, arts and culture of Louisiana. Each year, approximately 85% of the performers are local musicians, reflecting the festival’s mission to support the cultural fabric of the region.

Artists from across Louisiana are encouraged to apply for the 2025 lineup. The application window is open from July 1 – October 1, 2024, and submissions can be made online. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or an emerging talent, this is an opportunity to perform alongside some of the most iconic names in music at one of the world’s premier festivals.

The festival is known for its eclectic mix of genres, from jazz and blues to gospel, R&B, rock and folk, ensuring a diverse lineup that highlights the best of Louisiana’s musical traditions.
