This Friday, Deacon John Moore and the Ivories will perform a musical tribute to two of New Orleans’ most beloved late icons, Fats Domino and Allen Toussaint. The event takes place at Rock ‘n’ Bowl just ten days before Allen Toussaint Day will be celebrated at a different event there, with performances from Moore and a bevy of all-stars.

January 5’s 9 p.m. performance marks the third annual Deacon John Tribute to Allen Toussaint, but due to Fats’ recent passing, the Deacon will add some of Domino’s repertoire into his set.
