David Byrne was scheduled to perform in New Orleans this Fall after putting on one of Jazz Fest 2018’s standout performance. The Talking Heads frontman announced he’d come back to town on October 8 for a solo show at the Saenger Theatre in support of his American Utopia album.

However, according to a statement from his representatives, Byrne’s New Orleans date of the tour has been canceled. The only information provided is the cancellation comes as a result of a “scheduling conflict.”

If there is any bright side to this development, it is that tickets never went on sale for this show, so there’s no need to wait for any refunds.
