On July 17, the River Road African-American Museum in Donaldsonville, La. will be hosting a tribute to Dave Bartholomew. Becoming a distinguished musician early in his career, Bartholomew is a Grammy Award winner and has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.

Bartholomew had a number of collaborations with various musicians such as Lloyd Price and Smiley Lewis, but the most notable was probably his affiliation with Fats Domino.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the River Road African-American Museum and will celebrate a lifetime of inspiring music from the high-esteemed artist.
