To get New Orleans’ game face ready for the upcoming NFL season– a season that will, without a doubt, see a black and gold Super Bowl –Who Dat Nation Events is throwing a massive, two-day festival in support of the New Orleans Saints’ 2019 bid for the championship. During September 7 and September 8, one day before the game against the Texans and the official start of the Saints season, join the rest of the black and gold diehards at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center for Who Dat Nation Rally & Music Festival.
On Saturday, September 7, from noon to 10 p.m., the festival will feature artists such as Michael O’Hara (“The Sheik”), The Top Cats, The Producers, The Guess Who, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Lost Bayou Ramblers, Louis Prima Jr. and Family Stone. On Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. and going until 9 p.m., the festival will feature All For One Brass Band, Tribal Gold, Honey Island Swamp Band, Blood Sweat & Tears, Cowboy Mouth, George Porter Jr. & Runnin Pardners and New Power Generation: Celebrating Prince. It should be noted, though, that the performances by The Guess Who and Blood Sweat & Tears take place in the JPAC Performance Hall and require a VIP ticket.
Tickets are on sale now, starting at $30 for a one-day, adult general admission ticket or $10 for a one-day, kids (13 to 18 years old) general admission ticket. Two-day passes are $45 for adults and $15 for kids. Those aged 12 and under get free admission. Tickets for The Guess Who range from $80 to $90, while tickets for Blood Sweat & Tears range from $60 to $90.
