Sponsor WWNO will team up with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) to present the 13th annual Culture Collision event. Culture Collision 13 takes place on Wednesday, September 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center (6400 Airline Highway, Metairie, LA 70003). Culture Collision converts the JPAS into a hub for visual and performing arts nonprofits in the greater New Orleans area, allowing arts organization to showcase their upcoming seasons to the public, all in one place. It’s also free and open to the public, aiming to serve as an evening for arts and performing arts aficionados and patrons, and to attract newer audiences.
Culture Collision 13 is now open for registration. Secure a spot for your arts nonprofit by reserving a table through this Google Form. Tables are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participation is open to nonprofit organizations dedicated to visual or performing arts, holding a 501(c)(3) status, and rooted in the Greater New Orleans community. Culture Collision 13 offers a platform for arts organizations to connect with the community and provides an exclusive opportunity for select nonprofit groups to showcase their upcoming cultural season in a lively atmosphere where attendees can drink and network with each other and the organizations themselves. Several lucky organizations will be invited to deliver brief performances during the event. If you represent an arts organization with an itch to dazzle your audience and improve attendance from the public, complete the performance submission section of the table reservation form by Monday, August 21. The final lineup of performances will be revealed by August 25, highlighting the chosen talents.
