The votes have been tabulated, and Cornet NOLA was voted by OffBeat readers as having the city’s best DeepEddy Vodka martini! Just a couple of days away from Friends of City Park’s annual fundraising event Martini Madness, the classic cocktail is having its biggest season of the year.

As part of OffBeat’s Martini Week competition, one lucky participant won a pair of tickets to Voodoo Fest, taking place next month. This year’s winner is Ashley Wineski.

Martini Madness takes place from 7-11p.m. on Friday, September 15, with a raffle, DJ, food and much more. Of course, the stars of the evening are the 25 specialty cocktails and cuisine served up to those who were lucky enough to purchase tickets before the event sold out. This year’s proceeds will go towards the restoration of City Park’s Popp Bandstand.
