The Consortium of Genius, the quirky musical ensemble known for their distinctive blend of rock and theater, has announced a show to accompany their new single.
On Sunday, September 24, at 7 p.m., Southport Hall will serve as a time machine of sorts, transporting audiences back to the 1990s. The Consortium of Genius invites fans old and new to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their original 1993 cassette Songs of Violence & Stupidity.
Founded with the mission of fusing the worlds of rock and theater, Consortium of Genius, who OffBeat Magazine has been covering for over a decade now, has become known locally for its unorthodox performances, where the characters are just as essential as the music. Lewis D’Aubin’s alter ego, Milo T. Pinkerton III, leads this motley crew of mad scientists and musical experts, creating a rather unique entertainment experience. Adding to the excitement, Consortium of Genius has just unveiled their latest single, “You Dance Like A Scientist,” which is now available on Funny Music Project’s website.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of the Consortium or simply looking for a unique and entertaining experience, tickets for this event are available now, and fans are encouraged to secure their spots while they are still available.
