Communion’s New Orleans residency will continue tomorrow night with yet another show at Gasa Gasa. The May edition of the series will begin at 9pm, and will feature sets from BASECAMP, Sun Seeker and Tysson.
The Communion Residencies are monthly showcases of local, national and international up-and-coming talent. Organized by artist-led organization Communion Music, the Residencies currently take place in 13 different American cities, including New York, Chicago, Nashville, Philadelphia and Austin.
Communion Music was founded in London in 2006 by Mumford and Son’s Ben Lovett, Bear’s Den’s Kevin Jones and producer Iam Grimble. The organization went on to curate a series of showcase across the UK that prodvided an independent platform for emerging young artists to be discovered. The US-based Communion Residencies were borne out of those events.
Tickets for tomorrow night’s show are now on sale for $8.
