Comedy House New Orleans announces first-ever local comedy festival

Since opening in May 2021, Comedy House New Orleans (CHNO) has featured numerous nationally known headliners, but the venue has also provided a stage for the best of comedians who call new Orleans home. From November 18-21 the venue will host New Orleans’ first-ever local comedy festival.

“We have such an active community of incredibly talented comedians in New Orleans and CHNO is fortunate to have comics like Mark Caesar, JQ, Alex Cureau, and Kymbra Li take our stage regularly,” said Tami Nelson, co-owner of the club. “We are thrilled to be able to offer our hard-working veteran and budding comics a professional stand-up comedy venue for them to hone their craft and connect with touring comedians.”

Headliners from past shows have included Jade Catta-Preta (The Soup on E!, American Housewife), Tacarra Williams (NBC’s Bring the Funny, Comedy Central), and Ben Roy (TruTV’s Those Who Can’t).  From born-and-raised heavyweights to touring headliners to fresh-on-the-scene standouts, the 1st Annual NOLA Comedy Festival will be a showcase of local comics.
