City of Gretna to Reveal 2024 Gretna Fest Lineup

On Monday, July 15, at 10 a.m., the much-anticipated lineup for the 2024 Gretna Fest will be unveiled by Gretna Mayor Belinda Constant and other dignitaries. The press conference will take place at the Gretna City Hall Council Chambers, located at 740 2nd Street, at the corner of 2nd Street and Huey P. Long Avenue.

Situated along the Mississippi River in downtown Gretna, the award-winning Gretna Fest features three stages with performances by national entertainers and some of Louisiana’s finest musicians. The festival is renowned for its exceptional food representing various cultures, a wide selection of arts and crafts, and entertainment for all ages. Gretna Fest supports local businesses and organizations, as well as numerous charitable causes on local, state, and national levels.

This year’s Gretna Fest is set for the fall, kicking off on Friday, October 4, and running through Sunday, October 6. Mayor Constant expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Gretna Fest is always such a wonderful event – not only for the City of Gretna but also for the entire New Orleans area,” Mayor Constant said. “We’re very excited about acts we have lined up for this year, and I can’t wait to announce them. We’re ready to get people talking about and looking forward to Gretna Fest 2024!”

To coincide with the lineup announcement, the festival is launching a special $30 for 30 Days promotion starting on July 15. The promotion, which allows up to 2 tickets per purchase with the promo code REVEL30, offers a significant discount. Regular ticket prices are set at $40 for a Single Day Pass, which includes re-entry to the Fest, and $90 for a 3-day Weekend Pass. Children aged 5 to 12 can enter for just $5, while those aged 4 and under get in free.

For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the Friends of the Fest pass, priced at $225, provides access to a covered, elevated area for all three days, along with a private bar and vendors. All tickets and transactions will be handled through RFID wristbands, a feature introduced last year. Mayor Constant noted, “The RFID wristbands were new last year, and it took a little time for people to get used to them. But they turned out to be a huge success. Folks really came to appreciate how easy and convenient they made going to the Fest.”

Gretna Fest 2024 is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever, with a diverse array of food, arts & crafts, and family activities. The festival will feature several themed Villages, including the Artists’ Village showcasing local talent. The popular Kids’ Corner will return with rides and games, and the Club Backstage at the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts will offer live music, a full bar, and more.
