Christian Serpas & Ghost Town return to Rockin’ The Rails

Get ready for a night of high-energy, foot-stomping music as Christian Serpas & Ghost Town take over the Covington Trailhead on April 17 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. as part of the Rockin’ the Rails concert series.

The band was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2024, and this free event showcases their signature mix of country, rock ‘n’ roll, and rockabilly music, guaranteed to have you dancing and singing along. Grab your friends, bring a chair or blanket, and come experience an unforgettable evening of music in the heart of Covington with one of Louisiana’s most electrifying live acts.

“It’s always a pleasure to play Rockin’ the Rails,” says Serpas. “Not only is it in a beautiful setting, but it highlights the family friendly atmosphere that makes St. Tammany parish so special. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Ghost Town is comprised of Serpas (vocals, acoustic guitar), Jeff Oteri (drums), Don Williams (guitar), and Brian Broussard (bass guitar). They’ve been representing Louisiana on the regional country scene since 1999, earning their reputation as one of the Gulf South’s best live acts. The band has released 8 CDs, landed songs on Country Radio charts, and received awards, honors and accolades from respected Louisiana music magazines including Album of the Year, Musician of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Top Louisiana CDs of the Year.

They’ve performed nearly 2,000 shows, raising roofs from Austin to Nashville and every town in between. They’ve done it all: clubs, fairs, festivals, casinos and concert halls, along with dozens of TV and radio show appearances. Along the way Ghost Town have shared stages with nearly everyone who’s anyone in country music (Kenny Chesney, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam, Montgomery Gentry, Blake Shelton, Pat Green, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band and nearly 100 other national artists), making true believers out of audiences every time they hit a stage with their boot-stomping, hip-shaking performances.
