In the March issue of OffBeat, longtime David Bowie music director Mike Garson spoke with John Wirt about “Celebrating David Bowie,” a tribute tour in honor of the late Ziggy Stardust. The New Orleans date was scheduled to be Monday, March 19 at Tipitina’s, but the event has unfortunately been canceled.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Celebrating David Bowie show at Tipitina’s will no longer take place on Monday, March 19. Refunds will be issued via the point of purchase. The band looks forward to coming to New Orleans and playing there soon,” a statement reads.

No further information is available at this time, but any announcement of a rescheduled date will be posted to OffBeat.com.
