Celebrate the 38th Annual Creole Tomato Festival

The French Market comes alive with the 38th annual Creole Tomato Festival on June 8 -9 , 2024. This event celebrates the bounty of Southeast Louisiana, with a weekend packed full of activities, live music, delicious Creole tomatoes and fun for the entire family.

The festivities begin on Saturday, June 8th, at 10:30 a.m. with the Ripe & Ready Second Line. This lively parade features a jazz band, the colorful Baby Dolls, and the high-flying Amelia Earhawts. Participants are encouraged to don their favorite tomato-themed attire and join the procession, which starts at Oscar Dunn Park, 700 Decatur Street, and marches to the French Market festival grounds.
