Looking to spice up your Jazz Fest with an unconventional after show? Bar Redux may have just the thing for you.
The Bywater venue will host a 20th anniversary tribute to 90s pop sensations The Spice Girls on Saturday, April 30 and Saturday May 7. The events will commemorate two decades since the release of the English girl group’s breakthrough single, “Wannabe.”
And it’s not just any tribute. Billed as “The Spice Girls: 20th Anniversary Burlesque Spectacular,” the production promises scripted lines, choreographed dances and plenty of steamy striptease.
The cast for the show includes headlining performers Ember Blaize, May Hemmer and Reverend Spooky Le Strange, along with up-and-comers like Jeklyn Hyde, Loretta Dean, Retro Jane, Night angel and Leo Danger Lace.
The shows will begin at 8pm each night. Tickets will be on sale for $10, and its recommended that fans come early to secure a spot. $20 VIP tickets will also be available.
