The BUKU Music + Arts Project has announced its return to New Orleans on March 11th and 12th, 2016 after a sold-out weekend this past year.
Tickets go on pre-sale this Thursday, September 10th at 11 a.m. CST, with a limited allotment of General Admission, VIP, and TOO BUKU 2-Day Passes available on a first-come, first, first-served basis. (Remember, BUKU is an 18+ event.)
Set against the “post-industrial backdrop” of Mardi Gras World, the festival aims to fuse EDM, hip-hop, indie rock, and “New Orleans underground culture.” It attracts young people from around the world.
Past artists have included Bassnectar, Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, Skrillex, ASAP Rocky, The Flaming Lips, Calvin Harris, TV On The Radio, Ellie Goulding, Flying Lotus, Icono Pop, Wiz Khalifa, Tyler the Creator, Nas, Empire of the Sun, Avicii, Boyfriend, Big Freedia, Lettuce, and many more.
The BUKU 2016 lineup will be announced soon. For information on ticket pricing, VIP amenities (which will once again include access to the S.S. BLU-KU Steamship), and more, visit their website here.
