Champions Square will host Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s Boudin, Bourbon And Beer Festival this Friday, November 3. Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Langhorne Slim & The Law, Kristin Diable & The City and Silverado Pickups form the musical lineup for the 21+ event aimed at celebrating local cuisine and culture.
Beyond the performing artists, the 60+ chefs in attendance will be stars of the show. Boudin chefs from all over town – including Chicago, Nashville, Yazoo City and elsewhere – will serve up interpretations of the beloved sausage as well as other dishes, so meat-averse folks should still stop by. Open bars serving local craft beers, spirits and wine will be prominent features, too. Also included are a cigar bar, dessert tasting stations and a silent auction.
Boudin, Bourbon And Beer is a fundraising benefit for the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, which seeks to create opportunities to inspire, mentor and enable youth to reach their fullest potential through culinary, nutrition and arts education with a focus on life skills development. Tickets are on the pricey side – $99 – but when considering the sheer amount of food, free alcohol and premium entertainment included, it’s a solid investment. The event runs from 6-10:30p.m. For more information, visit the festival’s website.
