The Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival will return to Cassidy Park in Bogalusa, LA on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30.
Now in its sixth year, the festival will feature sets from Anders Osborne, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux and Colin Lake on Friday, followed by performances from North Mississippi Allstars, Samantha Fish and Erica Falls on Saturday. Other acts on the bill include Wes Lee, Tea J. Moore, Louisiana’s LeRoux and the Franklinton High School Jazz Band, among others.
The Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival was named the Best Festival Outside New Orleans during OffBeat’s 2015 Best of the Beat Music Business Awards. The event features two stages of music, various educational programming, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors and more. Attendees also have the option of camping along Bogue Lusa Creek, which is adjacent to the festival grounds.
