The Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival will welcome Marc Broussard, Tab Benoit, Danielle Nicole, Paul Thorn, Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, and others when it returns to Cassidy Park in Bogalusa, LA on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24. Benoit will headline Friday night, while Broussard will take the top spot on Saturday.
The festival–which picked up a 2015 Best of the Beat Award for Best Music Festival Outside of New Orleans–will once again feature two stages of music, as well as various chidlren’s activities, food vendors and more.
Other performers on the bill include Samantha Fish, Voo Davis, Cedric Burnside Project, Leslie Blackshear Smith Band, Harper and Midwest Kind, Ed Wills and Blues 4 Sales, Waylon Thibodeaux, David Craig, Joel and Bobby, the Washington Parish Community Arts Program, and the Franklinton High School Jazz Band.
