Bob Dylan will swing through Louisiana for two nights when he embarks on a fall tour later this year.
The famed singer-songwriter will make stops at Shreveport’s Municipal Auditorium on Tuesday, October 25 and Baton Rouge’s River Center Theater on Wednesday, October 26. The master songsmith will, unfortunately, not be playing any shows on New Orleans on the upcoming outing.
Dylan will be on the road in support of his latest album, 2016’s Fallen Angels. The record features covers of 12 classic American songs, most of which were performed by Frank Sinatra at some point during his career. It’s a theme that Dylan explored on his previous album, Shadows in the Night, a record that consisted of 10 pop standards that were popularized by Sinatra.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale this coming Friday, August 12.
