Bluesberry Festival Postponed to October

Covington’s second annual Bluesberry Festival, a full-day celebration of blues music and the arts, has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 3, 2020 amid the COVID-19 global health threat. It was originally scheduled for May 30, 2020. The festival will still take place in Downtown Covington’s Bogue Falaya Park from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a stellar lineup of regional and national talent, including headliner Grammy Award-nominated headliner Cedric Burnside. Announced bands also include Eric Johanson, the Band of Heathens, JL Fulks, Ally Venable. Sawyer Fredericks and Roadside Glorious.

The festival also features a free interactive art experience, where patrons can paint their own works of art; 35+ talented artists from across the region who will be selling their original work; and a children’s village, where children can create their own works of art.

General admission to the festival is $25; $15 Early Bird tickets have been extended for purchase through June 30, 2020. A limited number of Fidelity Bank-NOLA Lending VIP Package tickets ($65) are also available. General admission is free for children ages 10 and under.
