The Blue Nile has announced its schedule for Jazz Fest season. The Frenchmen Street club will host the Backbeat Foundation’s 11th annual Jazz Fest Series, which will take place every day from Thursday, April 21 to Monday, May 2.
A variety of local acts and out-of-town Jazz Fest staples will perform at the venue, including Kermit Ruffins, Marco Benevento, The Soul Rebels, Naughty Professor, Adam Deitch, Johnny Sketch & The Dirty Notes, Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, Big Sam’s Funky Nation and many more.
As previously reported, Jazz Fest 2016 will feature headlining performances from Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Neil Young & Promise of the Real, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Morrison, Beck, Snoop Dogg, Tedeschi Trucks Band & Friends and My Morning Jacket, among others.
