Dude. The Big Lebowski Jam is coming to town.
In conjunction with Winter Circle Productions, Joy Theater will be putting on a unique collision of film and live music on Friday, March 30. The annual MovieJam event– this year, a screening of The Big Lebowski in celebration of the film’s 20th anniversary– will be synced with a live musical performance from Bonerama. This one-of-a-kind event will feature a Big Lebowski-themed costume contest to crown the best-dressed Dude, Walter and Maude. The winners will receive signed memorabilia provided by John Goodman, Nola Rugs, and Fulton Alley.
For the Lebowski Jam event, Bonerama will be taking creative license by putting together their own unique soundtrack to the film. The soundtrack will include both memorable songs from The Big Lebowski film and original Bonerama music.
Proceeds from this year’s MovieJam will go to benefit the New Orleans Film Society. Tickets ranging from $17.50 general admission to $150 VIP Table options are for sale here. However, we’ve got three pairs of tickets to give away to three different winners! To enter, fill out the form below. Winners will be notified via e-mail on Thursday, March 29. Good luck!
