Big Gigantic will head to New Orleans’ Joy Theater for a Halloween throwdown on Monday, October 31. The Colorado-based duo’s show will take place one day after the conclusion of the 2016 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, which will take over City Park October 28-30.
Big Gigantic are known for their jazzy take on electronic dance music, a sound that combines elements of dubstep and EDM with live saxophone and drums. The group will be on tour in support of their upcoming a release Brighter Future, an album that features collaborations with artists like Jennifer Hartswick, Angela McCluskey and GRiZ (who will play his own show in the Crescent City in October). The upcoming LP also includes a track with New Orleans rapper Pell called “Miss Primetime.”
Tickets for Big Gigantic at the Joy Theater will go on sale this Friday, August 19 at 10am. Illenium will open the show.
