We all know Big Freedia is the Queen of Bounce, but now she has been crowned the Queen of the Fuse network as well.
The popular Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce television program has been renewed for two more seasons after posting the highest ratings in Fuse history for the recently concluded second season.
Production on the new seasons will begin next month with the filming of 13 episodes that will be split into two seasons that will start airing in early 2015.
“Big Freedia is a sensational, unique talent, and we are thrilled to announce that the series will be back for a third and fourth season, following a year that saw her popularity grow, and her show attract more viewers than any other in Fuse history,” Fuse president Bill Hillary said in a press release. “This is the first original programming to go into production since we acquired Fuse, and we can’t wait to bring the show’s young, loyal viewers more Big Freedia next year.”
With local hero and compelling personality Big Freedia as its guide, Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce is an unscripted series that explores the world of the New Orleans underground hip hop scene.
It is executive produced by Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato and Tom Campbell of World of Wonder, which also produces RuPaul’s Drag Race, Million Dollar Listing, Life with La Toya.
