The Big Easy Cruise, which will set sail November 4, is ready to host a brunch experience at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans to kick off the Jazz Fest this weekend. The event will occur on April 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Fleur de Lis room and courtyard at 300 Bourbon Street.

Guests will get the chance to see live music by Cha Wa, the Grammy-nominated New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian funk band, and have the opportunity to meet Chef Kevin Belton, the New Orleans chef, television presenter, authorand educator who specializes in New Orleanian cuisine, and the artist Frenchy, an ambassador to the arts and a bastion of creativity in New Orleans.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for locals and visitors to come together and celebrate the spirit of New Orleans,” said a spokesperson for the Big Easy Cruise. “We’re excited to offer a unique experience that combines music, food, and arts in such an iconic setting.”

The Jazz Fest Weekend Brunch has limited capacity, and interested attendees are encouraged to RSVP soon before the event fills up. The event will take place rain or shine and promises to be a memorable start to the already established festival weekend.
