Beyoncé will play NOLA for final date of world tour, Sept. 27

Beyoncé will play NOLA for the final date of her Renaissance World Tour in New Orleans at Caesars Superdome September 27.

She is touring off the release of her Grammy-nominated 2022 album, Renaissance, which featured a sample from Big Freedia and Adam Pigott’s 2014 bounce song “Explode” on the track “Break My Soul,” which was nominated for Song of the Year and won Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

A Beyoncé “second line” parade was hosted February 1 to celebrate the news. Led by L.B. Landry High School Marching Band, the parade started at the Joy Theater on Canal Street before ending at Harrah’s New Orleans Casino.

This tour will be Beyoncé’s first solo tour in over six years and will visit Brussels, Barcelona, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and more in Europe in May & June. Additional North American cities include Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Louisville, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tampa, Vancouver and more.

BeyGOOD, the philanthropy initiative she founded in 2013, will also support the places she visits by funding scholarships, internships and entrepreneurship resources.
