Simple Play Presents have organized a benefit show for schools and teachers that were affected by the devastating floods across Louisiana earlier this month.

Slated for Wednesday, August 24 at Gasa Gasa in New Orleans, the concert will feature sets from Colin Lake, The Breton Sound, Midriff and Hurricane Max. Music will begin at 6:30pm and last until midnight.

Simple Play has teamed up with the Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana, and proceeds from the show will assist the organization its effort to support teachers and administrators directly as they rebuild schools.

Tickets for the show are now on sale for $15, and will be $20 on the day of the show. Those that attend will be able to exchange school supplies for a $5 discount at the door.
