Beats and Brushstrokes will host their third installment outside of Charlie Boy LLC at 2043 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. on Saturday, October 25th, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Beats and Brushstrokes combines the forces of local visual artists, musicians, makeup designers, and fashion designers for a celebration of the next generation of New Orleans artists and bearers of its culture.

This event is a part of an ongoing series showcasing local talent.

Saturday’s event will include performances by eight to 10 artists including French Quarter Festival LLC and Old Algiers Festival poster designer Varion Laurent, Definition DJ Chris Stylez, New Orleans sensation Ayo Scott, and Internationally recognized artist Myesha Francis.

Saturday’s event with host a clothing drive to raise money for charity and food will be provided by Myrtle Palmer of Food4daSoul Food Truck.
