On Saturday, October 10, there will be an unforgettable screening of highly acclaimed film Beasts of the Southern Wild accompanied by a live orchestra.

The event is presented by Wordless Music, an organization that seeks to illustrate the continuity between the worlds of classical music and more contemporary genres like indie rock and electronic music, and will be the ensemble’s first performance in New Orleans.

The Wordless Music Orchestra will be joined by Louisiana’s own Lost Bayou Ramblers along with conductor Ryan Adams to perform a live score with screening to the extraordinary 2012 film.
