Ever since he tanked his response to President Obama’s address to Congress in 2009, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has been an easy target for comedians of all stripes. Thoses jokes have only become more common since Jindal threw his hat in the race for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination, where he has failed to gain any traction despite spending what feels like the majority of his time in office on the campaign trail.
While his candidacy may be the biggest joke of all, Jindal was once again targeted by a popular comedian last night, when Aziz Ansari portrayed him on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The actor and stand-up comic (who is of Indian descent) took up the role of Louisiana’s Governor, jovially exclaiming that he is “the only candidate that doesn’t believe in science. Period!”
Check out Fallon and Ansari’s bit below, and take solace in the fact that Jindal will be no longer be employed by the State of Louisiana in a few short months.
