Alice Cooper will bring his dark and twisted brand of glam rock to New Orleans Saenger Theatre on Wednesday, August 17. The concert was annoucned today along with a litany of other dates throughout the U.S. anmd Canada.

Almost 50 years after he was discovered by Frank Zappa, the iconic shock rocker is still hitting the road with his elaborate stage show. With six months worth of touring scheduled for 2016, its safe to say the 68-year-old alcoholic-turned-golf-afficiando doesn’t plan on slowing down any time soon. At least not when it comes to the music.

Cooper’s upcoming show will mark his first performance in New Orleans since he opened for Motley Crue at the Smoothie King Center last September.

Tickets for the event will go on sale this Friday, April 22 at 10am via Ticketmaster.
