New Orleans’ very own multi-award-winning rapper, singer and member of duo SaxKixAve, Alfred Banks, is gearing up to deliver a live performance at the Bookoo Lounge on Saturday, September 23, at 7 p.m. Hip-Hop enthusiasts can expect a unique show as the underground rap artist, known for his elevated lyricism, takes the stage alongside local emcee, Rei The Imperial.

Having earned praise from some of hip-hop’s most esteemed publications, Alfred Banks has solidified his position as one of the most promising talents in the New Orleans rap scene. Complex Magazine recognized him as one of the “10 Upcoming New Orleans MCs,” and he has garnered critical acclaim over the years. Notably, he has previously performed at both Buku and Jazz Fest and has also toured with New Orleans’s own Grammy-nominated artists Tank & the Bangas, further establishing his presence in the music industry.

Alfred Banks has collaborated with several local heavyweights, including Pell, The Soul Rebels, HaSizzle, and more throughout his career, showcasing his versatility and artistry.
