Air Sex—a raunchy competition in which participants get down with an imaginary partner or partners with the gusto and pageantry of America’s Got Talent–will simmer up the stage at One Eyed Jacks on Friday, March 25.

Air Sex is exactly what it sounds like. The comedy show encourages attendees of all genders and kinks to perform hilarious (yet oddly touching) feats of fantasy lovin’. New Orleans comedian Chris Trew will host the erotic competition, which has toured the country for eight years.

Judging the acts will be former WWE wrestler Brodus Clay, as well as local actress Julia DeLewis and Scott Simon of IHeartNola.com. Because communication is key for an enjoyable experience, the judges will provide constructive criticism after each performance.  Like its more socially acceptable cousin, air guitar, Air Sex requires soul and stage presence. In December, winners of the New Orleans competition will have the opportunity to join other Air Sex athletes/artists at a national event, where the champion will be awarded a large gold trophy.

Doors for the competition will open at 9 p.m., with the show starting at 10 p.m..  Tickets can be purchased for $10 online or at the show.  Prospective competitors are encouraged to register for the event here.
