Renowned bassist Thundercat will bring his upcoming world tour to New Orleans when he headlines Tipitina’s on Friday, October 6.

The versatile musician, who has worked with wide range of artists that includes Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, Erykah Badu and Suicidal Tendencies, will be on the road in support of his 2017 solo album Drunk. He even earned a Grammy in 2016 for his work on Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly track “These Walls.” 

Thundercat last performed in New Orleans during this year’s Buku Music + Art Project in March, but his Tipitina’s show will hopefully run longer than the 60 minutes he was allotted at the festival.

Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, May 19.
