The clock is ticking for the millions of uninsured Americans to sign up for healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act, the enrollment deadline for which is December 15. In anticipation of the looming date and in an effort to raise awareness about ACA enrollment, local musicians will host a pop-up concert that is free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, December 12 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Charlie Wooton will play with all stars Johnny Vidocovich, June Yamagishi, John Gros, and Khris Royal. The special event, organized in partnership between the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic, Ace Hotel New Orleans and Martin Guitar for ACA, takes place at Three Keys inside the Ace Hotel (600 Carondelet St.)

The musicians will be joined by healthcare organizations 504HealthNet and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic who will offer onsite marketplace and medicaid enrollment from insurance counselors who can assist those who need to get signed up with the process and help choose a plan that’s right for them.
