This September, the annual New Orleans Burlesque Festival will take place here in the Big Easy for the eighth time. Dancers from all over the world are traveling to participate in the festival. Being one of the top burlesque festivals in the world, it’s expected to sell out, as it does every year.

There’s no better place to have a festival like this than right here in New Orleans, where places like Bourbon Street keep the spirit of Burlesque alive and well to this day.

The event will be taking place September 15-18. The Bad Girls of Burlesque show will highlight the festival, along with the Queen of Burlesque competition in which only one dancer will walk away as the winner.

The Civic Theatre will be hosting the weekend function and there will be performances by Rita Alexander, Leslie Zemeckis, and many more.
