The 5th Annual NOLA Reggae Fest, presented by Visit Jamaica, will take place from October 25th to 27th, 2024, at Congo Square in the French Quarter. The three-day event highlights the connection between New Orleans and Caribbean culture, featuring a lineup of reggae and dancehall artists, local brass bands and DJs from both the U.S. and the Caribbean.
Congo Square, a location with deep historical and cultural significance in New Orleans, serves as the venue for the festival, which aims to celebrate the shared cultural heritage between New Orleans and Jamaica. The event will showcase 20 musical acts across two stages, as well as a variety of food vendors offering Caribbean-style dishes and New Orleans favorites such as gumbo and ya-ka-mein.
The festival also includes a dedicated area for children, where Young Audiences Charter School will provide educational art and cultural activities.
Artist Lineup
The event will feature performances from notable artists such as reggae icon Yellowman and Jamaica’s I-Octane, alongside New Orleans-based acts like Rebirth Brass Band and HA Sizzle.
