504LIFE Returns with Second Event to Fundraise for PPE

504LIFE, a livestream telethon fundraiser, will hold its next fundraising event on Monday, May 4 (5/04). The livestream event brings together cherished New Orleanians and notable celebrities from around the world on the common ground of love for New Orleans. The goal of the telethon is to raise funds to purchase and deliver personal protective equipment, PPE, to doctors, nurses, medical staff, and first responders all over the city.

The 504LIFE fundraiser will feature celebrities, musicians, and local New Orleans icons who are rallying for this great cause. In this dire time of need, it is vital that the community stands together to support those who are protecting and saving the lives of New Orleans citizens. The first livestream event took place on April 11 and reached an audience of nearly 16,000 visitors during its peak hours. The fundraising goal was achieved and 504LIFE was able to refill the city’s PPE supply. This was an amazing feat, and 504LIFE hopes to continue this in their next livestream.

The second edition of the 504LIFE fundraiser will be held on May 4, beginning at 5:04 pm CDT and will run for five hours and four minutes. The event will be streamed live on 504LIFE’s YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch pages, as well as on various partners’ social pages. The program will feature live music, highlight commentary, and broadcast celebrity PSAs. Additionally, there will be an exciting “Only in New Orleans” special feature.

504LIFE is hosted by Amanda Shaw, Big Chief Fiyo of the Hard Head Hunters Mardi Gras Indian Tribe, and former WGNO sports reporter Megan Kluth. Prominent confirmed guest personalities include Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Peyton, Eli, Cooper and Archie Manning, Nicole Kidman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mannie Fresh, Matthew McConaughey, Juvenile, George Porter Jr., Eddie Redmayne, Big Freedia, Rebirth Brass Band, Tank & The Bangas, and many more awesome faces.
