The 37th Annual Creole Tomato Festival will return to the historic French Market on June 10 and 11. The event showcases the vibrant culture of New Orleans, featuring live music, food vendors, in a celebration of the beloved Louisiana Creole tomato.
Music enthusiasts can look forward to several performances throughout the weekend. Among the featured acts are the Lost Bayou Ramblers, Josh Starkman Duo, Sunpie & the LA Sunspots, and more.
Food lovers can check out various treats from local food vendors, including Cafe Dauphine, Carmo, Pupuseria La Milpa, and other vendors will be present. Many will include Creole tomatoes in their food offerings.
In addition to the music and food, the 37th Annual Creole Tomato Festival will feature several activities, including a “Ripe and Ready Secondline” starting at Oscar Dunn Park and proceeding to the French Market at 10:00 a.m. on June 10, plus an ArtCamp504 for kids.
