25th Anniversary of Hancock Whitney White Linen Night details announced

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, the Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans (CAC) will host the 25th Anniversary of Hancock Whitney White Linen Night, an event celebrating the city’s art scene.

Hancock Whitney White Linen Night transforms the 300-700 block of Julia Street in the Arts District of New Orleans into a block party, where specially curated exhibits feature works from local, regional and international artists. At venues including the Contemporary Arts Center, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and the National WWII Museum, art lovers can explore their surroundings free of charge.

“As the CAC’s signature fundraiser, Hancock Whitney White Linen Night is among the largest arts fundraisers in the Gulf South. We are thrilled to have reached the milestone of 25 years of presenting cutting edge art experiences, building community, and celebrating the culture of New Orleans,” said MK Wegmann, Interim Executive Director of the CAC. “We invite all art lovers to don their best summer white finery and join us for the season’s biggest artful party!”
