The Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans (CAC) announces its premier annual gala, SweetArts 2019, will take place on Saturday, February 9. The theme of the 2019 SweetArts gala is “Made With Love” and mirrors how loves inspires the process of making art. SweetArts is an interactive and high energy night full of art, music and dancing with cocktails and cuisine all benefiting the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans.
The event features an Honoree Patron Party at 6:30 p.m. which will celebrate honorees with cocktails and entertainment. This party will take place on the first floor of the Contemporary arts center. Tickets are $300 per person for CAC members or $350 General Admission.
SweetArts 2019 will also feature their Gala at 8 p.m. with explorations of the CAC through fun-filled events. One event will feature contemporary art demonstrations by artists including printmaker Pippin Frisbie-Calder and textile artist Lena Kolb. A contemporary art auction will take place with entertainment by DJ Otto and DJ Heel Turn. Cuisine and cocktails from local restaurants will be available. Gala tickets are $150 per person for CAC members and $175 General Admission.
The last event of this diverse experience, the SweetArts Late Night Party, will take place at 10 p.m. with a DJ set by Washed Out. This after-hour function will be full of dancing, late night eats, and much more! Late Night Party Tickets are $60 per person and $40 discounted tickets for Artists and Students.
