The 2024 Across The Pond Guitar Festival returns this year with an exciting lineup of world-class guitarists from the U.S., Canada, and Italy, showcasing performances in three cities: New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Bay St. Louis, MS. Presented by acclaimed New Orleans musician Jimmy Robinson, the festival is set to captivate audiences with its blend of virtuosic guitar talent and international collaboration.
Kicking off with concerts at iconic venues such as The Manship Theater in Baton Rouge and The 100 Men Hall in Bay St. Louis, the festival will feature performances by renowned artists Gavino Loche from Sardinia, Italy, Adrian Raso from Guelph, Canada, and New Orleans’ own Guitar Masters—John Rankin, Cranston Clements and Jimmy Robinson. In addition to the live performances, the trio of Robinson, Loche, and Raso is working on a collaborative acoustic recording project, premiering new material during the festival.
Layla Musselwhite, an acclaimed New Orleans-based musician, will also perform, adding her unique blend of blues and roots music to the lineup.
The Across The Pond Guitar Festival has gained a reputation for featuring top-tier guitarists from Europe, Canada, and the U.S., previously performing in cities such as Amsterdam, Atlanta and Covington, LA. This year’s expansion to Baton Rouge and Bay St. Louis reflects the festival’s growing reach and influence in the international music community.
