The Threadhead Cultural Foundation has announced its 2020 Annual Online Raffle and has begun collecting raffle items from now until February 28. 

Acceptable raffle donations include restaurant and bar gift certificates, commemorative items, posters, jewelry, art, festival passes, hotels and cruises, show tickets, and New Orleans memorabilia. The Annual Online Raffle benefits the Threadhead Cultural Foundation which works to support local musicians through youth music clinics and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic/New Orleans Musicians’ Assistance Fund. The raffle is the primary fundraiser in supporting the grants given in the fall that assist local art and artists. 

Since its humble beginnings post-Katrina, the Threadhead Cultural Foundation has disbursed over half a million dollars in grants. In addition to the raffle, the Threadhead Records concept has raised and given out another half million to support local art and music. 

Tickets will be available for purchase on the Threadhead Raffle website at the end of March 2020. Once tickets are on sale, the raffle will be open until Friday, April 17 at 5:00 pm.
