Earlier this week, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival announced its 2016 lineup to much fanfare. Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Morrison and many more were on the bill, along with countless favorites from the Louisiana music scene.
Jazz Fest also unveiled its latest poster, a tribute to New Orleans’ “first family of jazz” from illustrator and designer Paul Rogers. The poster–titled “House of Swing”–depicts Marsalis family patriarch Ellis Marsalis, as well as his famed sons Branford, Wynton, Delfeayo and Jason. All five can be seen playing their respective instruments through the windows of a two-story house.
So, what do you think of the 2016 Jazz Fest poster? What do you think of the 2016 Jazz Fest lineup?
