OffBeat Magazine’s fifth annual Martini Week contest begins this week, and the public will help determine the winner – plus one lucky participant will win a pair of tickets to Voodoo Fest! Eight bars throughout New Orleans will compete to see who makes the best version of the classic cocktail using Deep Eddy vodka. The bar voted by you to have made the best martini will be featured at Friends of City Park’s Martini Madness fundraising event on Friday, September 15. The bars participating are:

Martine’s Lounge – 2347 Metairie Rd.
Meril – 424 Girod St.
New Orleans Creole Cookery – 508 Toulouse St.
Pal’s Lounge – 949 N Rendon St.
Public Belt – 2 Poydras St.
RF’s Martini Bar – 301 Dauphine St.

To take part in voting, visit the bars and ask for the OffBeat Magazine special. Most importantly, submit your choice on our poll no later than 10p.m. on Friday, September 8.
