Bruce Springsteen will finish the first weekend of Jazz Fest on Sunday, April 29. Next week, Springsteen will be part of a week-long tribute on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon; he’ll appear on Monday night and on Friday, when he will be the only guest on a show that will feature an interview and a number of musical performances by Springsteen with the E. Street Band. The appearances are timed to the third anniversary of Fallon’s show – Friday, March 2 – and the release of Springsteen’s new album, Wrecking Ball, which comes out Tuesday, March 6.
In the middle of the week, other musical guests will cover Springsteen songs. On Tuesday night, Kenny Chesney will perform “I’m on Fire” from Born in the U.S.A., and on Thursday Elvis Costello will be joined by the Roots to perform “Brilliant Disguise” from Tunnel of Love.
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon airs at 11:35 a.m. CST on NBC.
