Beloved Gospel and Jazz Vocalist Topsy Chapman Passes.

The love of church, family and music forever remained the foundation of Topsy Chapman's life. The vocalist, who was born in Kentwood, Louisiana and moved to New Orleans at 17, continued to be entrenched in the gospel music of her roots while also enjoying a successful career performing traditional New Orleans jazz, modern jazz and acting.
