For years, when people thought of jazz in conjunction with Tulane, they thought of the Hogan Jazz Archive. When 49-year-old graduate student John Doheny arrived on the university's campus in 2003, changes started immediately. Doheny and jazz guitarist Larry Dobry revived the inactive jazz orchestra when Tulane reopened after Katrina, and students could start earning credit in Jazz Performance Studies.
