Tape Op, the magazine for recording engineers and producers, held its annual conference in New Orleans in 2004 and 2005. After Katrina damaged the conference’s in-town homes, the Fairmont and the Orpheum Theater, it moved to Tucson, Arizona—home of producer/organizer Craig Schumacher.
